“Chakra” is a Sanskrit word that means “wheel”. It refers to wheels of energy that encompass different aspects of our lives, and areas of our bodies. To understand in depth what each chakra means, what they do, and how to open and balance them, download your free visual chakra guide:
This is for the women. The ones who give so much to others. Who show love to so many. Who put others before themselves, and forget about who they are, what they want. They expect to receive what they’re craving from others, because they’re giving so much – someone should be giving to them, right? In reality, we need to give to ourselves. We need to be our own night in shining fucking armour, because we are goddesses and goddesses know their worth. We nurture ourselves. We see ourselves as the angels we are, and we give ourselves attention, presence and loyalty. We are loyal to ourselves because we value ourselves and know how important we are. I don’t want the attention and praise of someone else because it doesn’t mean as much as receiving it from myself. Once I give enough to myself, I can then overflow and give to others. Once I appreciate myself and the universe for all we do for me, I can then better appreciate others when they do something for me too. I need to see myself in the mirror every day as my best friend and most important person in my life, because that’s what I am! Women, if you aren’t getting what you want from someone else, start giving it to yourself. You are a divine fucking goddess and you need to love and cherish the shit out of yourself. Has anyone told you yet today that you’re beautiful? You are. You are sent here from heaven to heal and care for this world. Recognize first that you are this world – you are everything and everyone around you, and when you treat yourself like a goddess that’s what you attract. I’m so fucking tired of seeing women who give and give and give to everyone else and forget about themselves. I’m so tired of being that woman. Look at yourself in the mirror sweet angel. You deserve your own time, attention, affection, and support. I love you. #365DaysofSelfLove My #Day4 focus is cleaning. Cleaning to create a haven for myself to bask in my own divinity. Goddess vibes are strong today 😉🙏💚✨🌿
Spending time with women who are so supportive, loving, strong and gentle in all the best ways. I’m so grateful to connect with them and open up and have space held, and hold space in return.
Thank you thank you thank you I love you 💗 We are so supported xo
Day 2 – Morning Meditation and Reiki in the Forest
This morning when I woke up I had the urge to go to the forest. This happens often to me, and sometimes I let the colder weather (or just about any other excuse) stop me from doing it.
Today I decided it was happening, so I went there, took off my shoes, and grounded in nature. I felt so supported by the forest, like an old friend who’s always there for me.
I sat down on a log, meditated and practiced reiki on myself, allowing for the healing and blessings they bring ✨✌️ xo
We’re all connected to something greater than this physical body. You might call it your Higher Self, your intuition, spirit guides, guardian angels, God, the Universe. There are so many different names and forms of guidance we can receive but the essence of it all, is that it’s a loving energy, and it has your back.
Over the past 9 years, I’ve been strengthening my connection to this energy. I’ve developed clair audience, which means I can hear messages very clearly.
About a year ago, whenever I would ask my intuition/guides for guidance, the answer I would receive was “love yourself more”. It seemed like almost every question I asked, that’s the answer I got. “How can I heal this?”, “how can I achieve this”, “how can I become this?” I kept hearing that same answer, “Love yourself more”.
I injured my left shoulder last February, and it’s still in the process of healing. My right shoulder has had issues too, since I was about 18.
The shoulders are part of the Heart Chakra, which rules selflove, universal love, unconditional love.
I know I need to love myself more. It’s not just something you can say in a hollow way without meaning. I tell myself that I love myself. Almost every day. But what actions am I taking to prove it? What words am I saying to reinforce it?
I want to take this journey. Focusing on selflove every day for 365days. Because I’m worth it. I’m the only person I’m guaranteed to be with for the rest of my life. I’m my soul mate. So why not treat myself like it?
I had a powerful experience with Ayahuasca last year that confirmed for me the importance of putting my wellbeing first. I can’t possibly properly care for others unless I first care for myself.
It’s time to start putting my actions, time and focus where my mouth is. Selflove isn’t just a phrase to say. It’s a lifestyle choice. And I’m about to change my life.
Make sure your bananas have little brown spots on them before eating them – this means they’re ripe. When they’re ripe, bananas taste the sweetest, creamiest, and have the most nutrients. So don’t eat the greeny-yellowy ones! 😉💛

POTASSIUM
Potassium is the third most abundant mineral in the human body. It’s essential for us to consume it for good heart, brain and kidney function. It also reduces stress and anxiety and enhances muscle and bone strength, and metabolism. If you’re deficient in potassium, you can experience fatigue, muscle cramps and weakness, heart palpitations, anemia, headaches, stroke and diabetes among other illnesses.
If there’s one thing I eat every day it’s bananas.

Some of my favourite meals to have are smoothies, especially for breakfast. They’re quick to make, healthy and easy to bring on the go. One of my current faves is this banana nut chocolate one :)

NO CHOLESTEROL IN VEGAN FOOD
Cholesterol comes from animals – eggs, milk products, meat, seafood. Plant foods don’t contain cholesterol, though your body will still produce the healthy amount it needs.
SO MUCH SUGAR?!
It’s important to get natural sugars and fibres from fruit. The issue with the ‘sugar epidemic’ in western society is that processed sugar is added to foods unnecessarily. I tend to eat foods that don’t have any added processed sugar, and whenever I eat sugar it’s almost always in its whole form, as fruit, so it still contains the fibre which allows your body to process the sugar properly and turn it to energy. It’s unfortunate when people think sugar from whole fruit is harmful – in fact, fruit is some of the most healthy and essential food you can eat. Glucose fuels your brain and body.
SO MUCH FAT?!
Healthy fats from nuts are essential for your health! Especially as a vegan, we aren’t getting any unhealthy fats from animal products. We need these healthy plant fats for proper brain and organ function. Plant-based fats boost our mood, help with memory, liver and artery function, and alleviate muscle pain after workouts. They also help your body absorb other nutrients, like Vitamins A, D, E, and K which need fats in order to be absorbed.
ALL THE CARBS
This smoothie is full of healthy carbohydrates. Carbs are essential for your energy, especially when exercising. They boost your mood, improve your memory and heart health. Contrary to popular belief, healthy carbs can even contribute to weight loss.
